There was a time when I had a large circle of friends in my younger years. Always went out, had
fun, worked, lived my life and things were great. As I got older, friends started taking
different directions, moved away, got boyfriends, husband, etc. I still stay in touch but it's just not the same as it used to be. Somehow most of them figured it all out and somehow I didn't.I still go out on weekends and have fun, but keep thinking to myself,.. "Why am I still out here looking for Mrs Right? Shouldn't I have found her by now? Shouldn't I be at home with him and my kids? Helping them do homework? Signing them up for soccer practice?Having dinner together?" But somehow I still have not managed to meet Mrs Right. People always tell me that it will happen or to stop looking and it will happen, etc. etc. Easier said than done.
So lately, I have to ask myself why don't I have these things? Am I overly picky? I don't think I
am. Is it my looks? Well, I've been told I am good looking and honestly, I've seen worse make it
happen. Is it my personality? Well, I'm a little shy but I do manage to interact and talk with
people. I'm polite, live by the golden rule, funny, half-way intelligent. I'm not the best
conversationalist in the world but I try. I have a good career, Not a lot of money but I do ok.
Am I not outgoing enough? I dunno. If there is something fun to do I'm usually up for doing it. I
like to be outdoors as much as possible but I also like to stay in. There are lots of things I
like to do. Honestly, I'm really never bored but I just really wish I had someone to share life
