Well, I'm Sam. I've finished uni, and I work in a bar while I sort out career stuff. I'm the kind of guy that will smile at someone in the hopes they will smile back. I love making other people laugh with my sharp wit and ridiculous demeanor. But when the situation calls for it, I can serious-up.

I like learning little party tricks. I am a wealth of near-useless trivia. I like trying new things. I sometimes draw pictures that take weeks/months to finish. But that's not to say I'm a couch potato... I loves the beach, yes I do!

I quite honestly find it difficult to be late, even though I'm only on my L's at the moment, and so I rely on public transport and my bike. My word is my bond; if I promise something, I do everything in my power to make it happen.

I've learned alot about myself lately, mostly because of my job. I'm very non-confrontational and patient, so I tend to let alot of stuff slide. But if it's something very important to me, I get stubborn (and in some cases, brave) and only listen to the best of reasoning.

I like my music upbeat, and my movies action-packed and hilarious. I have awesome friends, who mean more than the world to me, and I love my family to bits (most of the time).

First things first, it will save us both time and awkwardness. I have a hearing problem. Still reading? Great. Between my hearing aid and lip reading, I get along pretty well. I have to be looking at you to communicate well, but I do OK.

I don’t let it hold me back from doing anything. I love my sport and fitness, I work in a public sector as a computer support person, and so I deal with many new people every day. I have travelled overseas several times, to Europe, USA and Canada and look forward to more travel. I enjoy camping and the outdoors, bushwalking, mountain biking and my home gym.

I admit my hearing has an impact on meeting new people needs some consideration. I would like to meet sooner rather than later, as I cannot get a good sense of a person by phone or email and would like you to know that my hearing is not a problem.
