Hello, there! Is this the part where I tell you that I am brilliant? Well, I'll leave that for you to decide. . . Many might describe me as a little too rambunctious and shoot my mouth off once too often, but the upshot is I'm quite charming. ; ) I crave for adventure and enjoy travelling. Simplicity, okay then here are my thoughts. I like to be very close connecting metally and physically, someone that I can trust and feel comfortable with. You might be asking why am I here, right? I'm a warm hearted and thoughtful man who values honesty and integrity and am happiest with my family and friends. My hobbies are music, bush walks and reading. I suppose the thing people notice about me the most is that I'm well read. Most weeks I read at least one book and often two or three. My main interests are art -- all sorts but notably Aboriginal --, history, literature , poetry -- all countries, music, psychology, politics and so on and so forth...

Having said that, I must admit that in most day to day things I am hopelessly disorganised and forgetful. (My daughters read this and laughed very much. A little too much I thought.) And, to be perfectly honest whenever I am confronted with even the simplest of tasks my response is a form of agitated paralysis as I try and make the task go away by denying it exists and/or denying that I exist.

Anyway, I especially like to share outings to music concerts, art galleries and film festivals with an intelligent and sensitive companion. And while there is nothing wrong with my usual companions, Peter and Barry et al, I really miss taking a lady out. They smell so nice for a start, not to mention them usually being so sweet.

And after spending most of my working life with women I can speak nearly fluent "womanese". As a consequence I have a lot of very close female friends who value my friendship -- as I do theirs -- and often get me to translate "husbandspeak" for them.
