I'm a laid back person with a quirky, sometimes odd sense of humor. I enjoy most activities from sitting at home watching a movie to taking a walk down the beach. I enjoy the beach but my favorite season is winter. I can't imagine anything more calming than a crisp winter morning and the ground coated with fresh fallen snow.

I'm a nerd at heart and will watch or read anything science fiction. I also enjoy reading novels of all types. I've read pretty much everything by Robin Cook and I'm currently reading the "Irish Country" series. I'm also a hopeless romantic and a believer in the grand romantic gesture. I get accused of over-thinking every gift searching for the perfect item, but they're always memorable.

I'm currently in graduate school working on a PhD in Educational Technology. It's been a long journey to get here, and is a fun story to tell people when we meet. I'll be taking my comp exams in August, so I'm a little stressed out about that. I grew up in the Philadelphia area and just moved back for graduate school, but I'm still new to the Bethlehem area. Coming home has made me realize how much I want to have someone to share my life with, and eventually have a family with. It may have been a winding road to get here, but I know where I am and am confident in who I am and where I want to go. I'm ready to find that someone that I will settle down with. I'm a sucker for fellow nerds and people who just enjoy life. Someone who is close to their family and hopes to one day have their own. Who is kind, loving and forgiving and always sees the good despite the bad.

My friends would tell you that I'm smart and funny, but with a quirky sense of humor. I will randomly quote movies, and have had entire conversations using only movie quotes with some friends. I put others before myself and am always looking to help solve a problem whenever I can. I'd like to meet someone who is open, honest and caring. My family and friends are the most important things in my life, so it would be nice if to meet someone with a similar background, or at least someone who understands how important family is to me. In the ends, I want to meet a person who wants to take the time to get to know me and eventually settle down and have a family.
